I'm Anesha and I would just like to say hi! firstly, a little bit about why I'm writing this blog. A few friends and I decided to enter a robotics competition called PiWars and our team name is 𝔸𝟚𝕄𝟚. Its a bit of a pun on R2D2 for Star Wars because we are Ananya, Anesha, Melissa and Maya. 2 As and 2Ms. 𝔸𝟚𝕄𝟚! PiWars is a competition where we need to design our own robot to compete in 𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓼 and earn points. To be more efficient with our robot the four of us split in two: two to work on the code and two to work on building the robot. we're still beginners in the whole process of this competition and this blog (finally back to the OG point) is going to go on this journey with us! we plan to record every failure and every success of our team (that includes our robot of course) and speaking (or writing I guess) about our team, 𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖗𝖔𝖉𝖚𝖈𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓 𝖙𝖎𝖒𝖊!
This is me! I'm 𝓐𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓱𝓪 (as mentioned) and a part of team construction! and I have been left in charge of our blog (yay!). I love building robots and working with circuits. I built my first robot in year 3 when I made a spider that crawled on my friends desks and I controlled it with a small controller I kept in my pocket. It really looked like a tarantula too!
This is 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚 on team code! She does A-LEVEL MATH ALREADY!!! She is amazing at coding and last year we both got to Round 2 of the Perse Coding Challenge together!
This is 𝕄𝔸𝕐𝔸. Maya's team construction with me! She is queen of unsticking those really annoying pieces that seem to connect and never come apart! And she makes it look so easy too!
This is 𝙈𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙖! She is a prodigy in just about everything! She is crazy advanced in Math, Chemistry and Physics. And she's already fluent in python and c++ (naturally she is team code).
So that's us! Team 𝓐2𝓜2 and we hope you'll stay with us on our journey to build a winner!
